Hello! We made it to Ottawa! We are staying at a small family run campground/RV place. We are 10 km outside of Manotick, and just a bit from the city.
Yesterday we left Guelph (and our weeping mothers in the driveway) at 10:30. Around 11:45 we realized we had forgot to load the plug in cooler that Dave's dad got for us. We drove back to get it, and ended up leaving Guelph, once again, at 1:00. But we made it! We got here around 6:30. We set up Dave's tiny little two person tent, instead of mine. From the outside it looks tiny, but its quite cozy. We ate, talked, and fell asleep. I think its the earliest we've both fell asleep in a long time.
Today we are hoping to go to Parliament, the War Museum (can't you just imagine the smile that will be on Dave's face the entire time?) and there are many other options. We are very excited!!!
